Assembler/Wirers In Topsfield, MA, Assembles and wires difficult and complex electronic assemblies. Works under the limited supervision of the senior manufacturing staff. Reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Responsible for wiring, soldering and assembly operations required in the construction of complex electronic equipment, including all duties of a Wirer B. Reads and interprets wiring diagrams. May work from models, schematics, wiring diagrams, pictorials, or breakdown sheets such as wire run lists and operational sheets. May be required to use personal judgment to resolve problems. May perform cabling and harnessing. Uses soldering irons, pliers, cutters of various types, wire strippers and other standard wiring and assembly tools in subassembly and final assembly procedures. Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors. EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school or technical trade school diploma or training in military service preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 years electrical assembly and wiring experience required. Business Development Manager For our Melville, NY and Topsfield, MA locations. Responsible for the efficient administration (forecasts, plans, etc.) of the business development activities for attaining a forecasted level of sales of production oriented equipment orders and/or funded research programs including follow-on spares/repairs business under the general supervision of the department vices president and/or director. Reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Develops marketing analysis to identify customer needs, price schedules as well as stays current with client needs, competition, and industry trends. Delivers sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate. Responsible for assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns. Coordinates and manages the efforts of sales representatives within assigned territory. Seeks development/production standards, and identifies programs on which the company should bid. Seeks R&D programs that have follow-on potential or that can lead to the development of suitable products. Participates in pricing meetings to determine costs and arrive at a selling price as well as develops near term marketing plans and forecasts as required. Director/Senior Manager of Engineering Responsible for all aspects of RF Engineering, performs and is responsible for broad activities of high power RF product development such as solid-state switches, limiters, control components, amplifiers or LNA’s and multi-function modules from 1MHz to 18+GHz. Responsibilities include technology assessment, research, analysis, design/development, and managerial responsibility for major portions of projects subject to the approval of the applicable executive(s). Supervises engineers working in the Engineering Department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overall coordination of efforts, including making job assignments for RF Engineering personnel and keeping applicable executive(s) informed as to personnel requirements. Responsible for the review and approval of all RF Engineering design. Responsible for the preparation and submission of Estimates to Complete (ETC), status reports and technical reports on assigned projects on a timely basis. Insures that all stages of the project are properly documented by reports, drawing, photographs, etc., as applicable, to insure reimbursement for works accomplished and to safeguard proprietary rights. Prepares schedules for work and insures that all commitments are met on time. Drives the growth of the Company through improvements in processes, procedures and capital equipment acquisitions. Program Manager Melville, NY & Topsfield, MA . Position has general management authority for and responsibility to plan, organize and integrate Company resources required to successfully manage the program and meet contractual commitments under the general supervision of the applicable vice president and/or director. RF Test Technician - MA FUNCTION: Performs a variety of complex RF component and module-level test functions utilizing standard laboratory equipment in a production environment. Works under limited supervision of senior test dept staff. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs production testing of RF an Microwave components, sub-assys and modules such as PIN diodes, high power RF switches, limiters and fixtures. 2. Capable of tuning high-frequency RF circuits using small hand tools and equipment under a microscope. Experienced with MIC components (diodes, capacitors, coils, substrates), and attachment media (solders and epoxies). 3. Familiar with the use and routine care of common RF laboratory equipment including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, AC/DC Power Supplies, Power meters and amplifiers. Experience in High Power RF testing a definite plus. 4. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, parts lists, travelers, rework instructions and process procedures to determine sequence of operations and proper test techniques. 5. Capable of test, troubleshoot and rework specification of DC circuits, mainly PIN diode drivers, decoders / encoders and regulator circuits. 6. Documents and communicates in writing and via E-mail technical issues, scheduling / assignment comments, and process times. Capable of providing written reports to assist in scheduling work and revising documentation as needed. 7. Use of basic computer skills and Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) to communicate information between departments. 8. Works independently under minimal supervision and meets production deadlines 9. Must be capable of possessing a DOD security clearance. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications.
