RF Test Technician - MA FUNCTION: Performs a variety of complex RF component and module-level test functions utilizing standard laboratory equipment in a production environment. Works under limited supervision of senior test dept staff. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs production testing of RF an Microwave components, sub-assys and modules such as PIN diodes, high power RF switches, limiters and fixtures. 2. Capable of tuning high-frequency RF circuits using small hand tools and equipment under a microscope. Experienced with MIC components (diodes, capacitors, coils, substrates), and attachment media (solders and epoxies). 3. Familiar with the use and routine care of common RF laboratory equipment including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, AC/DC Power Supplies, Power meters and amplifiers. Experience in High Power RF testing a definite plus. 4. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, parts lists, travelers, rework instructions and process procedures to determine sequence of operations and proper test techniques. 5. Capable of test, troubleshoot and rework specification of DC circuits, mainly PIN diode drivers, decoders / encoders and regulator circuits. 6. Documents and communicates in writing and via E-mail technical issues, scheduling / assignment comments, and process times. Capable of providing written reports to assist in scheduling work and revising documentation as needed. 7. Use of basic computer skills and Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) to communicate information between departments. 8. Works independently under minimal supervision and meets production deadlines 9. Must be capable of possessing a DOD security clearance. EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent. 2 year technical or military training preferred EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years of related experience including use of a microscope and related equipment required. For U.S Contract purposes must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

RF/Microwave Hybrid Engineer Design and develop amplifiers and circuits by performing creative RF/Microwave engineering work related to 1-20 GHz high power amplifier designs of 5 to 100+ watts using chip and wire techniques. Position requires customer liaison, evaluation of requirements, conceptual design, functional flow down/functional definition, design finalization and initial production support. Member of a design team consisting of electrical, mechanical engineers and support staff activity for aspects of design, verification and qualification. Perform analytical engineering circuit design work directed toward the development of new products or design techniques Uses complex simulation tools to model circuit performance Prepares engineering design releases to facilitate the design and manufacture of circuits Directs and performs the needed testing to ensure proper circuit operation. QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidate has experience with the development of chip and wire circuits used in high power communication, pulsed or radar systems. 10+ years of hybrid design experience Familiar with RF/Microwave high power (5+ watts) chip and wire design techniques Experienced in die attach, wire bonding, ribbon bonding Familiar with GaN and GaAs transistors and die. Working knowledge of MIL-STD-883 assembly techniques Working knowledge of clean room processes. Working knowledge of simulation tools such as ADS EDUCATION: BSEE minimum, MSEE preferred US citizen or permanent resident a must

RF/MW Test Technicians Responsible for testing/aligning RF Microwave Amplifier Systems. Should be familiar with working with high power and with basic RF measurement; such as Gain, VSWR, and insertion loss. Should have knowledge of Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Power Meters. Must have knowledge of microprocessor based control circuitry and have he ability of trouble shooting down to component level. Performs a variety of non-routine tasks to ensure production quality standards are met. Works under the limited supervision of the senior test department staff. Reports to the Director of Production test.
